Why we exist

A lot of great food never makes it into restaurants or delivery apps. It comes from home kitchens, church kitchens, community kitchens, small food businesses, and people who cook for their neighborhood.

Kitchen Counter-Measures gives those cooks a more organized way to share what they make.

How it works

Customers browse meals, choose a pickup window, and preorder online.

Cooks set their own menus, prices, portions, pickup styles, and availability.

Every listing shows the cook, meal details, pickup timing, food handling notes, and disclosures before checkout.

Built for pickup, not delivery

This is not a delivery app. It is built around scheduled pickup, local repeat customers, and clear coordination between cooks and buyers.

Some listings use porch or curbside pickup. Others may use public meetup spots, community kitchens, churches, or commercial kitchen locations.

Trust and transparency

Kitchen Counter-Measures does not prepare food or certify that every menu is legal in every location. Independent cooks are responsible for following applicable food laws, disclosures, labeling rules, and pickup requirements.

The platform provides phone verification, listing disclosures, order records, reporting tools, and moderation workflows to help make local pickup more organized and transparent.

For cooks and kitchen partners

Cooks can apply to start a kitchen, build a public storefront, post preorder meals, and manage pickup orders.

Churches, community centers, shared kitchens, and commercial kitchens can also partner with us to support cooks who need approved preparation space or public pickup locations.
